Vonage App for iPhone and BlackBerry Now Available

Vonage has announced the availability of its VoIP-based calling applications for both iPhone and BlackBerry platforms. The application is free, offering unlimited calling to 60 countries, at a monthly fee of $25. The iPhone version also offers users to make unlimited Vonage Mobile calls in America over the Wi-Fi without using phone plan minutes. The BlackBerry and iPhone apps also work on cellular networks. This application keeps all existing cell phone numbers and allow users to dial directly from their phone address books. It also integrates with Twitter.com.

iPhone users have to download the app from iPhone Apps Store while BlackBerry users have to  download it  from Vonage’s official web site.

Nexus 1 Winning Factor ?

After the initial Specs are released, experts are comparing the Nexus One Google Phone with other Top Smartphones. The Year 2010 will see tough competition among the Vendors and Carriers.

Nexus One main target market seems to be USA, where most phones are sold via carriers like AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint. Google plans to sell it Unlocked ( its also still not confirmed ).

Lets see what will be the winning factor for Nexus One, will it be the Google Name, or Android OS or 1Ghz Processor, or Google Apps, or Cheap price for unlocked phone. Apart from other things, Google does have a big advantage over others, and that is its Ad serving base, Using AdWords, Google can promote and sell it on a very large scale at a rapid pace.
